In the midst of the museum's garden, the traditional New Orleans Brass Band Funk Second Line will transports you with its fanfare every Sunday afternoon. Over the weeks, discover the musical eclecticism of a unique land, the cradle of jazz: second line funk, New Orleans style, standards from the 1920s-1930s... A musical immersion in the heart of Louisiana!

Villes des musiques du monde
A project started in Aubervilliers and encompassing several towns in Seine-Saint-Denis, "Villes des Musiques du Monde" was conceived and implemented from an educational and social as well as a cultural and artistic perspective. It aims to foster cooperation between different kinds of structures through collaboration between the cultural, youth, associative, international relations, children's and neighbourhood life sectors.
The project involves organising an annual world music festival in the autumn (7 October to 13 November 2022), managing the Point Fort d'Aubervilliers, a "new cultural venue" featuring regular programmes (shows, exhibitions, film screenings, creations by artists in residence) and, lastly, hosting the École des Musiques du Monde (World Music School), bringing together several artistic educational programmes dedicated to learning music.
