Zombis. La mort n'est pas une fin?

À la croisée du monde des morts et des vivants, la figure du zombi a fortement imprégné la culture populaire et le cinéma fantastique mondialisés. L’exposition aborde la zombification rattachée à la religion vaudou haïtienne, au cours de laquelle un individu ayant commis un méfait serait jugé, condamné, drogué, enterré vivant, exhumé puis exilé et transformé en esclave sous la garde d’un maître (bokor). À travers différents objets liés au rituel de la zombification, un temple et un cimetière vaudous reconstitués, ainsi qu’une « armée de guerriers Bizango », Zombis. La mort n’est pas une fin ? interroge une réalité anthropologique polymorphe, entre savoir et fiction.
