The performance Les Étoiles, choreographed by Her Royal Highness Princess Norodom Buppha Devi offers an overview of the most emblematic dances of the Royal Ballet of Cambodia: the antique dances of the goddess of water Moni Mekhala, the dances of seduction, and the dance of the celestial nymphs, the ‘Apsaras’.

The ingredients that have made the Ballet a success for centuries are all accounted for: sumptuous costumes, delicacy and precision in movements of the dancers, and divine musical scores. Accompanied by a mohori ensemble and chamber music played at royal ceremonies and birthdays, the ballet brings time to a standstill and invites us to glide among the stars.
