Résumé
Guizhou province is home of 9 millions so called Miao, and 3 millions Dong any many more other ethnic groups. Here is a compilation of the most visible instruments being played for ceremonies in the case of various Miao Lushen ( mouthorgans of different sizes ) and as social entertainment music in the case of Dong old people s afternoon meeting in an ancient drum tower (specific to the Dong architecture ), using the 2 main Dong string instruments ; the 4 stringed plucked lute called Dong pipa and the 2 stringed bowed viole called Niutuiquin. first 3 tracks recorded in Paisha village, a Miao, they call temselves. The Lushen players are dancing while blowing.
