musée du quai Branly, là ou dialoguent les cultures

F. Marc de Lacharrière (Fimalac)

Founded in 1991 and chaired by Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, Fimalac creates and supports numerous projects that promote culture and access to the arts and artistic activities for all, believing that culture plays a unifying role in today’s society. The creation of the Culture & Diversity Foundation in October 2006 follows on from Fimalac’s dual commitment to promote culture and solidarity. Today, the Foundation is a key player in providing access to advanced studies in art and culture, assisting nearly 9,000 high school students from more than 130 institutions in educational priority areas.

Fimalac is a founding member of the Cultural Heritage Foundation and the J. Toja Theatre Foundation, creator of the Beaux-Arts Academy/Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière Photography Award, a leading member of the Louvre Museum’s corporate patron programme, and a partner of the Théâtre du Rond-Point. Fimalac is also involved in the economic debate over the Prize for Creative Audacity and the Economics Book Award.

It is therefore a natural extension of Fimalac’s commitments to want to support the musée du quai Branly in its promotion of “Where cultures meet in dialogue”.

acquisition of ten works by Anne Noble

In 2007, this commitment was expressed in supporting the acquisition of ten works by Anne Noble, from the series “Ruby’s Room”, on exhibition at the musée du quai Branly during the biennial Photoquai, these large works reflect the artist’s unique take on childhood.
