Air Liquide, patron of the musée du quai Branly and of the exhibition "Aux sources de la peinture Aborigène. Australie, Tjukurrtjanu"

As a continuation of its partnership with the musée du quai Branly, which began in 2009, Air Liquide, the world's leading provider in gases for industry, health and environment, wished to support the musée du quai Branly as a patron for the exhibition "AUX SOURCES DE LA PEINTURE ABORIGÈNE". Australie - Tjukurrtjanu.

Air Liquide operates in 80 countries including Australia. Its worldwide presence and the diversity of its customers industries have led the company to integrate and promote a multicultural approach in all its activities.

The theme of this exhibition reflects how important diversity is to the Group as a key strategic orientation of its Human Resources Policy and a source of dynamism, creativity and performance.

Air Liquide also made its expertise and staff available to the musée du quai Branly as well as the necessary instruments to set up a new anoxic disinfestation equipment, providing a treatment through deprivation of oxygen and nitrogen injections that protects the artefacts kept within the musée du quai Branly.

With this equipment, pieces sometimes dating back more than 500/1000 years and made of fragile materials such as wood, fabric or even paper can be protected and preserved over the long term.
