Friends of the musée du quai Branly
Chaired by Mr Louis Schweitzer, the Friends of the musée du quai Branly was created in spring 2002 to support the development and influence of the musée du quai Branly in France and abroad:
- Enrich and enhance the collections
- Support and promote exhibitions, performances, etc.
- Encourage generosity or loans from French and foreign patrons
- Foster research and education at the museum
- Organise conferences, exhibitions and events
- Create prizes and grants
The Friends benefit from many privileges in museum life: conferences, private tours, invitations to private viewings, invitations to travel in France and abroad…

The Claude Lévi-Strauss Circle
Created in 2009 by the Friends of the musée du quai Branly, the Claude Lévi-Strauss Circle supports the enhancement of the collections and finances each year a study grant.
