Designed by the architect as a private salon, the intimate atmosphere of the reading room offers each visitor the opportunity for a quiet pause, allowing them to extend their visit. Learn about the museum's news, consult exhibition catalogues or comic albums, participate in events, access computerised catalogues or a selection of CDs and DVDs; just some of the opportunities provided by the Jacques Kerchache reading room.

L’écrivain colombien Gabriel García Márquez, 87 ans, prix Nobel 1982, est mort ce jeudi 17 avril 2014. Son œuvre a été traduite dans toutes les langues ou presque, et vendue à quelque 50 millions d'exemplaires.
