9 June: Argentinian tango

© Mikael Wallerstedt

Argentinian "queer tango" is a way to learn to lead and/or follow Argentinian tango as the participants wish, free from traditional male/female roles.

It is an invitation to work on other artistic expressions that can be found in the dance. It is not about abolishing roles, but rather about taking them on, subverting and enriching them with our differences.

Here it is no longer a question of the role of the man and the role of the woman; we speak of the leader and the follower.

In this way, each person can explore the role that attracts them most, whatever its gender expression.

Discover the boomerang and learn how to throw it using three-bladed versions in mousse with the Art Boomerang Club association. This session combines manufacture, experimentation, physical dynamism, reflexes and observation.

On the program: continuous boomerang demonstrations to show throwing, catching and control techniques.  Throwing the boomerang demonstrates the simple yet complex aerodynamic phenomena that make the object return.

The members of the association will answer all of your questions and can advise you on the use and manufacture of all types of boomerang.
