"different", inter-museum programme of free activities

Works of art which make us different, collections which unite us in our diversity, visits to share together: three museums to celebrate our similarities and differences.

From 30 November to 7 December 2012, the musée du Louvre, the Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration (National Museum of the History of Immigration) and the musée du quai Branly are working together to offer their visitors a programme of cultural mediation which invites them to reconsider their view of difference.

To complement the numerous free activities organised within Accessibility Week, the musée du quai Branly has created a new themed guided visit for its permanent collections, within the framework of its Different programme, entitled “Differences”.

the extraordinary month, in unprecedented partnership with the city of Paris

To enhance the experiences of Parisians with a disability but also to highlight the arrangements put in place by cultural and sporting establishments to promote exchanges and meetings, such is the objective of the Extraordinary Month launched with the encouragement of the Town Hall of Paris. The musée du quai Branly naturally wished to be part of this wonderful initiative, by including some of the main events within its own schedule, as well as by hosting the closing ceremony.
