The museum provides a rich and eclectic destination for groups. On this page you will find all the practical information you need to prepare for your visit.

From Tuesday to Saturday, from 9.40am to closing, according to the events schedule.

how do I make a booking?
By telephone only 01 56 61 71 72 (from Monday to Friday from 10am to 4.30pm), at least 2 weeks in advance for guided tours, and 1 week in advance for independent visits.
All group visits require a preliminary reservation with the reservations service.
adult group rates
Activities must be paid for in advance of the visit. All guided tours *, as well as independent visits, require purchase of an entry ticket per person **, at the reduced rate. You can buy extra entry tickets at the museum at the group rate on the day.
* except "Jardin d'artiste" tours, breakfast and aperitif
** from aged 26 for the Collections Area and from aged 18 for the Garden Gallery - for European Union nationals

specific rates
Groups of school children, the disabled and those receiving social security payments benefit from a specific rate for the following activities : free entry tickets, €70 for a guided tour of 1 hour or 1 hour 30, €100 for a children and families workshop, €300 for an aperitif or breakfast visit.

meeting place and time
After collecting their tickets groups must go to the adult groups desk in the museum hall at least 20 minutes before the start of the activity.
for information: you will be asked for one piece of identification for the audio phones used for the majority of group guided tours
arriving by coach
In order to make dropping off easier, we recommend that you take rue de l'Université and stop outside number 218. You will find coach parking nearby : Port de la Bourdonnais and avenue Rapp (further information can be found at www.autocars.paris.fr or from the police headquarters).
reception
Tickets can be picked up on the day of the visit from ticket desk n°1 on presentation of your reservation confirmation.
cloakroom
We recommend that visitors drop off their personal items before proceeding to the group reception
access
The following can be found at the cloakroom: cane seats, wheelchairs, walking frames and magnifying glasses. Hearing loops can be found at the adult groups desk.
bulk sales at preferential rates (undated, from 20 tickets)
Purchase your undated priority tickets in bulk : collections and temporary exhibitions from 20 tickets purchased ! 10% to 25% reduction from a minimum of 20 tickets.
