Adjoining the Museum and garden, the Museum bookstore at 220 rue de l’Université, is now France’s leading sales point in the field of tribal arts.
Beneath its high ceilings, painted by Australian Aboriginal artists, visitors will find a wide selection of books, both on the Museum itself and French or foreign reference works, along with postcards, posters, reviews, CDs, DVDs and other items which will satisfy both the general public and experts alike.
Artefacts on sale in the shop area are neither imitations nor replicas, but are true echoes of the arts and crafts of the countries represented and sold in the spirit of ethical trading.
Opening hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm daily except Mondays. Thursday evening until 10:00 pm
