The mediatheque collections include a wide range of documentation on ethnology and history of art outside Europe, for a wide public including academics, cultural heritage professionals and the general public.

The mediatheque is a centre of excellence on ethnology and offers a wide choice of works on the art and civilisations of Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas.  It also conserves documents relating to their cultural heritage: photographs, archives, documentation on the collections.
