The Study and Research Media Library

The Study and Research Media Library is open to researchers and provides them with the opportunity to consult printed, audio and audiovisual documents, to carry out in-depth academic or personal research or to prepare a forthcoming academic visit to the Museum.


To register - research must be justified (production of a student card, professional card, research and/or cover letter). An identity photograph must also be provided

Most documents are conserved in storage spaces.

40 computers give access to ever-increasing scientific documentation: on-line catalogues, electronic journals, data bases, links with websites, CD/DVDs, programming schedule of the Jacques Kerchache reading room

Photocopy and black and white printouts

some documents may not be photocopied for conservation reasons

Interlibrary loan

A service which enables the visitor to consult documents which are available in libraries outside the Paris region. Please contact us for more information
