The catalog of the iconographic library
The iconographic library of the musée du quai Branly holds nearly 700,000 pieces. Of these, 580,000 are from the photographic library of the musée de l’Homme, 66,000 from the library of the former musée national des arts d’Afrique and d’Océanie, and 3,500 graphic arts from the History Collection of the musée national des arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie. These collections are enriched by the many thousands of acquisitions of the musée de quai Branly.
170,000 entries are consultable on-line, mostly accompanied by a digital image.
