Mes premières découvertes des arts

To prepare for or recall the pleasure of a visit to the museum, this book takes the reader on a magical journey up the 'ramp' that leads visitors from one continent to the next in search of the finest works of art.
Let's discover works of art from the civilisations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, brought to life by Henri Fellners' humorous and poetic illustrations. Masks and musical instruments, jars shaped like people and tapestries, leather puppets and multicoloured clothing, fetishes and wall frescoes.

The illustrator
Henri Fellner was born in 1962, and is a graduate of Arts décoratifs de Paris.
He works for the press and for publishing houses.
He bought a computer without, however, throwing away his pens, pencils and first box of water paints (given him by his grandfather). He does pictures of people rather than tractors, and he likes music as much as silence.
In the Musée du quai Branly, his illustrations, filled as they are with humour, go perfectly with reproductions of traditional artefacts from the four continents.
