The quai Branly museum

The musée du quai Branly

In 1999 Jean Nouvel won the competition to build a new museum that has developed from the collections of the musée de L'homme and the musée des arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie*. Between January 2001 and June 2006, an exceptional construction site rose up along the banks of the Seine, at the base of the Eiffel Tower. The authors enthusiastically retrace this adventure and alternate interviews with studies and photographic portfolios. The book will satisfy both the general public and professionals.

A reference book about the museum for all architecture lovers.
